CLIF BAR energy bar provides sustained energy before and during activity lasting over an hour. It delivers a mix of simple and -complex carbohydrates from sugars and organic rolled oats alongside smaller amounts of fat and plant-powered protein during climbing, hiking, riding and skiing.
Performance Food/Nutrition: With carbohydrates or a blend of carbs and protein, these foods deliver nutrition to active bodies before, during and after exercise.
Energy: We know different sports demand different fuel. So, we’ve designed our performance foods with nutrition for different types and intensities of activity.
A mix of carbohydrates, fat and plant-based protein helps get you ready for those long days on the bike, trail or slopes. These foods should be eaten 1-2 hours before activity to fuel performance.
CLIF BAR Energy Bar:Race Pace: Sodium is combined with simple carbohydrates – providing fuel to working muscles. Consume according to package instructions during vigorous, race-paced activity lasting longer than one hour. Use in conjunction with an appropriate physical training or exercise program. Not a sole source of nutrition. Consume in conjunction with a nutritious diet. Consume according to directions to avoid gastrointestinal upset. Not suitable for children under 15 year of age or pregnant women. Should only be used under medical or dietetic supervision.
CLIF BLOKS Energy Chews:Endurance Pace: A mix of carbohydrates, fat and plant-based protein during those lengthy hikes, rides and climbs. These foods should be eaten with water for moderate-intensity activity lasting longer than one hour. CLIF BAR (see above).
Carbohydrates and 20 grams of protein are brought together after activity. These foods should be consumed with water after training or competing (ideally within 30 minutes) to CLIF® BUILDERS®
